More on Sunday's walk to the Big Drift

Lots of people clearly thought conditions would be perfect to head to the Big Drift last Sunday because we welcomed more than 50 walkers. Once out on the dunes everyone scattered and appeared to have a great time taking in the vasteness of this stunning site. Sadly I don't think the young boys who brought along cardboard to slide down the dune face were able to gather much speed - the sand was quite firm, which of course made it perfect for walking.

Morning tea,as usual, was well received. Of course we all deserved

it after such strenuous activity!!
